Schoolcraft County posted its unofficial election results Wednesday morning.
Two jail-related proposals failed. The bonding proposal lost, 2,334 no to 2,052 yes. The jail’s operating millage proposal also failed, 2,390 no to 1,993 yes.
In the race for Schoolcraft County Sheriff, Charles Willour was the winner with 2,683 votes. Darrell Dixon was second with 1,823 votes and Chad Watton was third with 185 votes.
