There’s been a fatal snowmobile crash in the Copper Country.
The Houghton County Sheriff says it happeneed at just after 4:00 on Saturday when the 61-year-old man from Lower Michigan lost control of his machine and crashed into several trees.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released. The cause of the crash remains under investogation, but excessive speed is believed to be a factor.
