Russell Nyman, Army Veteran from 1956-’58, has received his second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
Nyman was one of the first Veterans enrolled in Iron Mountain VA services to receive the vaccine. Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center is presently calling Veterans that are 75-years-old or older, or are in one or more of the following categories: 75 years-old or older; homeless; a spinal cord injury, transplant, dialysis, oncology patient, or have other high-risk comorbidities.
More doses of the vaccine are ordered and as they arrive, we will be calling and scheduling more Veterans.
