The Hannahville Indian Community’s Tribal Council approved four 2% grant awards to the City of Escanaba Recreation Department.
Funds will be used for the West Side Recreation Area – Phase II, Esky Clean Up, Ludington Park Tennis and Pickleball Courts and Civic Center Kitchen Upgrades.
“The City of Escanaba Recreation Department is extremely pleased to be awarded funds for varying projects. The Hannahville Indian Community has been generous to the City and other organizations throughout the years and their support is important. Without their support a majority of projects would not take place within the community”, stated Kim Peterson, Recreation Director.
