BISSELL Pet Foundation is hosting the “Empty the Shelters: Big Dog & Cat Crisis” emergency adoption event Aug. 16 – 22, 2021, an effort to find loving forever homes for pets in shelters facing overcrowding. BISSELL Pet Foundation will sponsor reduced adoption fees for $25 or less for large dogs (40 lbs. or more), adult cats (six months or older), and senior dogs (seven years or older).
This emergency event will be hosted in more than 80 shelters in 27 states, including UPAWS.
UPAWS will offer senior dogs (any weight) & big dogs 40 lbs. on up for $25. Adult cats 6 months on up $5.
The UPAWS shelter is open from Noon to 4PM daily at 815 M553 in Gwinn.
