Flu season is upon us and OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group is ready.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has made a strong recommendation for everyone who is able, six months or older, to receive the flu vaccine annually. Flu vaccinations for adults and children are now available through OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group – Primary Care offices. Patients can schedule a flu shot appointment by calling their provider or through OSF MyChart. MyChart users can search for and select the nearest primary care clinic, as well as view specific time slots available and quickly schedule a flu shot appointment.
In addition, a drive-thru flu shot clinic will be held on Saturday, October 9 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the OSF Drive-thru Testing Center, located behind OSF St. Francis Hospital (in the parking lot of the Medical Office Building). The clinic is open to those 19 years old and above, no appointment is needed.
