The Delta County Chamber of Commerce would like everyone, from business professionals to community couples and singles, to save the date for the elegant midwinter gala, Fire & Ice.
This event, considered by many to be Delta County’s premiere social gala, will be on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Terrace Bay Inn. The black tie event starts at 5 p.m. with cocktails and social hours, followed by dinner at 7 p.m., and finally, a dance with live music from 9 p.m. until midnight.
The culinary staff at the Freshwater Tavern will be providing a delicious meal including a selection of savory entrées, side dishes, salads, and delectable desserts.
“We at the Chamber of Commerce are looking forward to a great event this year,” Chamber Executive Director Vickie Micheau said. “We are thankful to all of our generous members who have purchased tickets and donated prizes for past events. Since Fire & Ice was cancelled in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are looking forward more than ever to seeing everyone at this year’s event.”
To purchase tickets for this year’s event, please visit www.deltami.org, call (906) 786-2192, or stop by the Delta County Chamber, located at 1001 North Lincoln Road, Escanaba (located directly before the Fairgrounds entrance). Tickets are $80 each, or $750 per table of 10, or $600 per table of 8, and include a gourmet dinner, drink tickets, and an opportunity to exciting door prizes. One lucky attendee will walk away with the Grand Prize with a value of at least $1,000!
At this year’s event, attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and instant win tickets for the chance to win many great prizes donated by Chamber member businesses. The evening will also feature a live auction, a 50/50 drawing, and pay-to-play prize chances throughout the night.
For the convenience of attendees, The Terrace Bay Hotel has made overnight accommodations for Fire & Ice available, offering guests hotel rooms for $159/night for a luxury lakeside balcony room or suite, and includes a bottle of champagne, a rose, and Sayklly’s chocolates. To reserve a room, please call the Terrace at (906) 786-7554 and mention the “Fire & Ice” package rate.
“We would like to thank the community for their continued support of their Chamber of Commerce,” Micheau added, “and have everyone look forward to Fire & Ice on Saturday, February 5, at the beautiful Terrace Bay Inn, which is sure to be a memorable and fun event.”
Fire & Ice is the Chamber’s first fundraising effort of 2022, raising money for the operating expenses of the Delta County Chamber of Commerce. The event is sponsored in part by OSF Healthcare.
