The Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Awards program at beautiful Pine Mountain Resort. Over 150 people attended from all across the business sector. Chamber Executive Director, Suzanne Larson stated: “It was so nice to see so many people come out to support their fellow businesses and get together for a fun evening. We gave out awards for Small and Large Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Distinguished Member of the Year, Best Non-Profit, Best Place to Work and Ambassador of the Year. And I appreciated all of the businesses that supported our event, namely Boss Plow. “
And the award goes to: 2021 Small Business of the Year winner: Stephens Real Estate.
2021 New Business of the Year winner: Dulce Nulla Gourmet Desserts.
2021 Large Business of the Year winner: First National Bank & Trust.
2021 Distinguished Member of the Year: Trisha Peterson.
2021 Best Non-Profit winner: Habitat for Humanity.
2021 Best Place to Work winner: Bellin Healthcare
2021 Ambassador of the Year winner: Anne LaBelle
2021 Michigan Works Business of the Year winner: Systems Control.

Also, Suzanne gave a “State of the Chamber” address, noting how healthy their Chamber is with 405 members and growing. Other stats on 2021 included hosting 25 ribbon cuttings to new Chamber members.
