The Salvation Army of Escanaba is adding a new service to the Escanaba community with a Family Store opening on March 22, 2022. The store is located at 2405 1st Avenue North, in the Mini-Mall across from Hobby Lobby, and will be open Tuesday through Saturday each week from 11AM-6PM . You can donate your gently used clothing, and household items to the store during business hours. “The family store model is a key driver for programming in the community. All revenue from the family store stays in the community it is serving.” stated Miles Bagley, Business Manager. A Grand Opening Ceremony will be scheduled in early May.
“We look forward to adding this service to the Escanaba community”, said Captain Doug Winters, UP Regional Coordinator for the Salvation Army. “Having this resource will help us meet not only the financial needs of the community but also the physical needs of people in a time of crisis by supplying household and clothing items when the need arises.” The Salvation Army states that this will allow them to continue to provide overall increased services in the community.
