The Escanaba Public library celebrates Jazz History Month on Thursday, April 7 at 4:30 p.m. with musician/author Phil Lynch and his collection of historic 78s.
Phil will present the first jazz record ever made, two monumental recordings by Louis Armstrong, and a few evergreen Big Band themes, all with historical notes and comments to tie them together. Phil is the author of the Armstrong inspirational/biography book “Live Like Louis.”
