The number of new coronavirus cases has slowed in the past week according to the latest report from the state Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
That report shows 19,535 new cases for the period of May 26-June 1, which averages to 2,791 new cases per day. That compares with last week’s numbers of 25,968 new cases, or a daily average of 3,710 cases.
