The Marquette County Health Department says it has the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine available for young kids, following the FDA approval of the vaccine for children as young as six months old. This includes children who have already had COVID-19 in the past. Parents can set up a vaccination appointment by calling 475-7844 or go to mqthealth.org. The agency says this may prevent more hospitalizations and deaths among kids, compared to other routine vaccinations like the chickenpox.
