A suspect was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Negaunee after allegedly trying to rob the Embers Credit Union, as well as Super One Foods.
Negaunee Police say they were called at 4:30 Wednesday to come to the Embers Credit Union for an unarmed robbery attempt, and when they got there, a second robbery attempt was reported at the grocery store. A 58-year-old from Negaunee was arrested and lodged at the Marquette County Jail. There were no injuries, and no money or property ended up being stolen.
