Recently the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual awards program at Venue 906 in Kingsford. Major event sponsor was First National Bank & Trust.
Over 150 people were in attendance from all across the business sector of chamber members. Chamber Executive Director, Suzanne Larson, stated “It was wonderful to see so many people come out to support their fellow businesses and get together for a fun and very important evening. We presented awards for Small Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Distinguished Member of the Year, Best Non Profit, Best Place to Work and Ambassador of the Year. Michigan Works was also on hand to award their special Michigan Works! Business of the Year award.

2022 Non Profit of the Year: Dickinson Trail Network
2022 Ambassador of the Year: Matthew Lutz
2022 Small Business of the Year: Danielson’s Floral
2022 Michigan Works! Business of the Year: Miller Products & Supply
A “State of the Chamber” address was also given by Suzanne, noting how healthy the Chamber is citing 407 members and growing. Other stats include hosting 27 ribbon cuttings and welcoming 54 new members to the chamber.
Chamber Executive Director Suzanne Larson stated “Congratulations to all the nominees and winners of the Chamber/First National Bank & Trust Business After Hours & Awards Program. We have a lot to be thankful for this year and we’ve shown that we can be resilient as we navigate new waters. But if we work together, we can achieve greatness. As our motto states, we are better together!”
