Barr stated, “LSSU’s Escanaba Regional Center has left a profound impact on my education and professional development going forward. I was very indecisive regarding what I wanted to pursue coming out of High School. I knew I wanted to stay local and continue to seek higher education.
LSSU offered me a path to obtain a quality education without ever leaving Escanaba. The curriculum was rigorous, prevalent, and intriguing. I built positive relationships with my instructors, fellow students, and my advisor Heidi Rife. Staying home allowed me the opportunity to work and go to school simultaneously, meaning I could pay for tuition with my own money. I’m proud to say, I graduated 100% debt free – something I couldn’t accomplish through other institutions. I am grateful for the opportunities provided to me by LSSU and its Escanaba Regional Center.”

Burby stated, “Having the convenience of online classes to earn my degree was so helpful with the busy life of a mom and teacher. My advisor Heidi Rife was a huge supporter in my efforts of obtaining my degree. She was my biggest cheerleader and always helped with my questions throughout my college career at LSSU.”

Sturm stated, “With having a family and not wanting to relocate, it was very convenient to have Bay offer the bachelors program through LSSU at the Escanaba campus. Between both schools, the teachers and advisors were very helpful to me in my efforts in obtaining my degree. They were always pointing me in the right direction. I highly recommend going this route especially for being able to stay local.”
