Escanaba’s OSF St. Francis Hospital was briefly locked down Wednesday afternoon after police got a report of a man hiding near the Emergency Department with a rifle. Officers quickly came to the hospital, and they immediately found a man there, but that man had no gun. Escanaba Public Safety says this man actually made a “ficticious call” about an armed man, so it was a hoax. Police were not laughing: the man was taken into ccustody and is now facing criminal charges.
