The Escanaba Wal-Mart Store was evacuated and closed Friday afternoon after a man came in, took two hammers, and started smashing jewelry display cases and check out lanes. Escanaba Public Safety says the call came in just after 4:00. Video provided to the Radio Results Network shows the damage done as store employees told people to stay back from the man. He was arrested on charges of malicious destruction of property and no injuries were reported. The Wal-Mart store renained closed Friday evening as the investigation and clean-up continued.
