The Superior Health Foundation has granted the City of Escanaba Recreation epartment with a second grant from their Foundation. Funding will be utilized for the After School Program in 2023-2024.
“The After School Program has been running for several years for students in 4th to 12th grades. The Program is very popular and averages 20 – 30 kids every day,” Recreation Director Kim Peterson said. “Students can come and utilize the facility from Monday to Friday 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The facility is a supervised environment and provides food/snacks, hygiene items and school supplies.”
“We are very grateful to the Superior Health Foundation for thei $2,500 donation.”
