The West End Gymnastics Center proudly announced its grand opening.
Accelerate UP and the Lake Superior Community Partnership (LSCP) assisted the celebration with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony.
The Center held an open house on Sunday at its new facility within the Negaunee City Center.
West End Gymnastics Center is a gymnastics facility focused on nurturing confidence and lifelong skills in children through comprehensive, empowering gymnastics programs.
“We’re excited to see our dream of having a dedicated home for our athletes materialize,” expresses Coach Bridget Johnson, the business owner of West End Gymnastics Center. “Our goal is not just about teaching gymnastics; it’s about empowering our children and our community by building confidence, and helping them acquire skills that will serve them throughout their lives.”
The Center will begin taking registration for classes on August 27th with the last day to enroll being September 8th. The first week of classes will begin September 11.
Welcoming a wide range of students, from the most energetic toddlers to ambitious high schoolers and everyone in between, the Center is committed to providing a safe and fulfilling environment where children can channel their energy, create lasting friendships, and grow personally and athletically.
“West End Gymnastics Center is a community where every child can find their place,” adds Coach Bridget. “Whether they aim to make their school teams, seek to improve their performance in other sports, or simply love the excitement of gymnastics, we’re here to nurture their passion.”
West End Gymnastics invites everyone to celebrate the journey of spreading gymnastics, kindness and community in its new center.
