Several patrol cars at the State Police Post in the Sault Ste. Marie were lit on fire and shot at early Wednesday morning.
State Police say the suspect has not been found and should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a white man wearing camouflage, driving a silver Honda CRV. He was last seen driving south on the I-75 business loop. No troopers were in the car at the time of the fires or shooting.
The Soo post was closed Wednesday as the investigation continued.
UPDATE: We are asking anyone in the area between 3 Mile Rd and M-80 on M-129 who may have home surveillance cameras to check activity from 3:15am and into the morning for any suspicious activity or the suspect vehicle we have listed above. Please contact the Sault Post with any info.
