The Marquette County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is celebrating a milestone anniversary.
The donation-based retail store, founded in 2003, has been proudly serving the community for 20 years, and will be celebrating this 20th anniversary milestone with extended hours on September 20 from 11 am to 6 pm. We will have food, games, and special pricing throughout the store! All shoppers can register to win a $100 ReStore gift certificate. The sale continues Thursday and Friday from 11-5 and Saturday, 11-4 at 133 Carmen Drive, Harvey, MI.
The ReStore sells new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public and serves all of Marquette County, and surrounding U.P. communities, and the community has been serving the ReStore too—through donations, volunteering, and shopping at the ReStore. All proceeds are used to fund Marquette County Habitat for Humanity’s housing programs. To date, the impact of these programs in the community is 109 new homes completed with 2 in process, over 150 home repairs completed, including dozens of ramps (both temporary and permanent).
