The Upper Peninsula Health Plan is reaching out to the community to recruit dedicated volunteer drivers to join its network in the Upper Peninsula.
With its vast, rural terrain, the Upper Peninsula faces unique health care challenges. UPHP’s network of volunteer drivers plays a crucial role in ensuring that our members receive the vital medical care they need.
These selfless individuals provide pick-up and drop-off services for local and long-distance transports, based on their availability.
Currently, UPHP is in need of volunteer drivers. We invite community members who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those who rely on our services to step forward and become part of our dedicated team.
If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer driver, please contact UPHP Transportation at 1-800-835-2556 and follow the transportation volunteer driver prompts.
More information about this rewarding opportunity can be found on the transportation page of our website at www.uphp.com/transportation/volunteer-drivers. Your commitment as a volunteer driver will help us ensure that healthcare remains accessible to all in our region, making a lasting impact on the well-being of our community.
