A Harvest Fest will be held at Saturday’s Farmers Market in Escanaba.
The Marketplace at 11th and Ludington Streets will feature fun activities for kids and families during the Farmers Market on Oct. 14.
“It is a fun way for kids to celebrate fall and harvest time while getting ready for Halloween,” said Judy Schroeder, manager of the Escanaba Farmers Market.
There will be a limited amount of pumpkins to decorate, face painting, games, photo backdrop and animals available for kids as part of Harvest Fest. Vendors will be at the Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to noon. Activities will continue to 1 p.m. Lunch will be available from Rollin’ Tacos.
“Kids are also welcome to wear Halloween costumes to go to vendors for candy while at the market,” Schroeder said.
The Escanaba Farmers Market is held Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon and Wednesdays from 3 to 6 p.m.
The final Farmers Market for the season will be Saturday, October. 28.
