Bay College and the Delta County College Access Network are excited to announce “Bay is the Way Day” scheduled for Friday, October 27, 2023, from 9am-2pm ET. This is an opportunity for high school seniors who are curious about college and interested in exploring the opportunities available to them at Bay.
This day is action packed with everything a senior would need to know about attending college.
Seniors will hear from current and former Bay College students, Admissions, Financial Aid, Athletics, and Transfer departments, tour the campus, be served lunch, and meet with faculty from each student’s individual areas of academic interest.
Seniors in the Delta County service area begin their day on the Escanaba-Main Campus at 9am-2pm ET.
Seniors in the Dickinson-Iron service area begin their day on the Iron Mountain-West Campus at 9am-2:30pm CT. Those students participating at the West Campus location will have the opportunity to tour Main Campus as well. Transportation is provided between the campuses on behalf of Bay College. Students or schools interested in attending are to arrange transportation to-and-from their closest Bay College campus.
“Bay is the Way Day is a thrilling and educational event designed exclusively for high school seniors eager to embark on their college journey and discover the countless opportunities awaiting them at Bay College,” says Jessica Beaver, Director of Admissions at Bay College. “This event is a gateway to a world of possibilities where students can dive into the exciting realm of higher education, explore their options, and chart their path towards a bright future. It’s an unforgettable adventure that transforms curiosity into clarity, setting the stage for the soon-to-be college student who will thrive and succeed. “
“This is a great chance for high school seniors to learn more about Bay College and what we have to offer, both inside and outside of the classroom. We are excited to have this time to highlight the programs and services that we can provide to them as an educational and training opportunity this is both affordable and close to home.” Jason Sullivan, Executive Director of Bay West, added.
