Community Members in Luce County are invited to join Upper Peninsula Health Plan (UPHP), LMAS Health Department, and Helen Newberry Joy for the Luce County Resource Fair. The event is taking place at the Tahquamenon Area Schools in Newberry, Michigan.
The resource fair will be held this Thursday from 4-7 PM and is open to the public.
Attendees will be able to meet with a variety of vendors that provide resources to assist in their day-to-day lives. There will be raffles and giveaways, free haircuts, car seat education, housing information, employment resources, and more. With many vendors registered to attend, there will be resources for community members of all ages.
“We are really excited to co-host the resource fair in Luce County and have partnered with the LMAS Health Department and Helen Newberry Joy, along with Upper Peninsula Health Care Solutions for this incredible opportunity,” said UPHP Clinical Services Manager – Medicaid, Meagan Hanson. “Ensuring individuals have access to basic resources and assistance programs allows them to live their best, healthiest lives. We are excited to coordinate this effort to assist the residents of the Eastern end of the Upper Peninsula.”
