The Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its members with an awards program, held at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.
Chamber Director Suzane Larson says the organization is “very healthy and thriving”.
She says they ended the year with 375 members and welcomed 28 new businesses to the organization. The Chamber Ambassadors held 22 ribbon cuttings, with businesses celebrating their new membership. And speaking of Ambassadors, their numbers grew, too, with 43 members.
Award winners are:
Small Business of the Year was Body Alchemy Bodyworks & Massage Studio.
New Business of the Year was Dickinson County Title.
Non-Profit of the Year was Family Snowshoe Charity Association.
Ambassador of the Year was Debra Crandall.
Best Place to Work was Body Alchemy Bodyworks & Massage Studio.
Large Business of the Year was 41 Lumber.
The award for Michigan Works! Business of the Year went to G. Brooks Electric.
