February has been a good month for Badger 5 lottery players in Wisconsin.
On Tuesday, a $129,999 Badger 5 jackpot was split between winning tickets sold at Kwik Trip, 36281 Main St. in Whitehall, Rice’s Liquor, 681 Milwaukee Ave. in Burlington, and Jack’s Fresh Market, 1507 Cleveland Ave. in Marinette for the February 25, 2025, drawing.
The winning numbers were 1-5-17-19-21. The winners from each ticket will receive $43,333.
The win marks the fifth Badger 5 jackpot of $100,000 or more won in the last seven weeks and sixth winning Badger 5 jackpot sold in February.
Jack’s Fresh Market co-owner, Kathleen Ziminski, was thrilled to learn about her store’s good fortune.
“This is awesome. It’s exciting for our community,” she said. “This win is a great opportunity for someone in the area.”
Ziminski added that “selling a winning ticket helps with future business.”
Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Program Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.
All three Wisconsin Lottery retailers have sold large winning tickets in the past. Players from the Whitehall Kwik Trip have won $10,000 and $100,000 on scratch tickets, while Rices Liquor ($50,000 Powerball) and Jack’s Fresh Market ($100,000 All or Nothing) have each sold a big Lotto winner in recent years.
