Marquette County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on County Road 480 near Old 480, outside of Negaunee.
A pick-up truck operated by a 22-year-old Ishpeming was traveling east on County Road 480 and left the roadway to the south side of the roadway. The vehicle crashed into rocks and rolled over onto its side. The driver was transported to UPHS by EMS. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, and sustained moderate injuries to his face and neck. Alcohol and drugs are suspected to be contributing factors in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
