Ishpeming Man Dies In Monday Morning Traffic Crash

There’s been a fatal traffic crash in Marquette County.

Ishpeming Township Police say it happened at about 8:30 Monday morning on County Road GGT when a Jeep driven by a 48-year-old Ishpeming man missed a curve near Clark Creek and crashed into some trees. The man was pronounced dead at UP Health System Marquette.

Police believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
