There’s been a fatal traffic crash in Menominee County.
The sheriff’s department says it happened at just past noon on Sunday on County Road 577 in Menominee Township. Deputies say that 85-year-old Gary Nyman was driving his SUV near the intersection of Number 2 Road when he crossed the center line and into the path of two pick-up trucks that were travelling in the other direction. One of the trucks was pulling a camper.
Nyman died of his injuries despite lifesaving measures being attemped at the scene. The drivers of both pick-ups suffered minor injuries.
