Escanaba Public Works is planning to begin picking up leaves next Monday, depending on weather.
Public Works will make every attempt to collect leaves from your address on your garbage collection day. It is not possible to accurately inform residents of the exact time and day leaf collection will occur.
It is recommended that leaves are out along the curb line on the day before garbage collection. Only leaves will be collected, sticks and other yard debris will not.
Leaves should be raked to the street at the curb line. Please try to keep the curb clear if you have leaves out, so the collection crew can access the leaves. Keep vehicles parked away from the leaves to allow room to access the piles of leaves.
Leaves will NOT be picked up with the regular garbage collection. Leaves will not be picked up in the Spring. Leaf collection will run weather dependent through November 14th.
