The victim of that fatal work zone accident Monday in Marquette County’s Sands Township has bee identified.
He’s 25-year-old Jack Rantanen of Marquette. The sheriff says Rantanen died after being hit by a car driven by a 48-year-old Gwinn woman. The driver is not being identified as the investigation continues—however deputies say she was treated at the hospital after the crash.
