The deadline to register for the Marquette St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Program is approaching.
The Christmas Program provides Christmas gifts and other necessities to individuals and families in need. Items offered at the event include toys, puzzles, books, sporting goods, and children’s clothes up to age eighteen. Participants can also receive a food basket through the Food Pantry. Those with low income or who are eligible to receive pantry food are encouraged to sign up.
Prospective participants must register by Friday, November 14.
Registration can be done in the St. Vincent de Paul Financial Aid Office or Food Pantry. Open hours for the Financial Aid Office and Food Pantry are Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 1:00pm – 4:00pm and the first Thursday of the month (November 6) from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.
“The Christmas give-away is St. Vincent de Paul’s ability to give back to the community for what the community has given to us. It is our pleasure to help serve those in need,” said Christmas Program Organizer Mary Lee Kirkum.
