MESSAGE FROM MARQUETTE BOARD OF LIGHT AND POWER AT 3:15 PM MONDAY:
Oue to the nature of the outages, we are not able to provide any timelines for restoration of service. Crews are working as quickly as possible to restore as many customers as possible. High winds and downed trees continue to hinder restoration efforts.
In addition to the MBLP crews that are working to restore service, the MBLP has contacted neighboring utilities & contractors to aid in restoration efforts.
At this time, it is advised to plan for an extended outage. Crews will continue restoration efforts until all services are restored.
Individuals who feel at risk or require additional community services can reach out to 2-1-1 by dialing 211 or contacting their local city/township offices .
If you require immediate emergency assistance, please contact 911.
Our website has been experiencing intermittent disruptions due to increased demand; we are aware of these issues working to restore full functionality as soon as possible.
