Marinette School District Superintendent Corry Lambie released a statement to families last night confirming the district is aware of a law enforcement investigation involving Marinette High School Principal Justin Bardowski.
According to the district, Bardowski has been placed on administrative leave in accordance with district protocol while the investigation is ongoing. The district says it is not aware of any allegations involving conduct on school grounds and remains in contact with local law enforcement.
Because this is both an active investigation and a personnel matter, the district says it is unable to share additional details at this time. Superintendent Lambie emphasized that the safety and well-being of students and staff remain the district’s top priority.
