A man suffered minor injuries early Sunday in a fire at an Escanaba home.
Firefighters were called out just after 4:00 Sunday morning to 710 Fourth Avenue South. The fire was in the kitchen of the upper apartment. There was fire, water, and smoke damage to both the upper and lower apartments.
The injured resident was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
