Escanaba Public Safety is out with an update on that apartment fire at Harbor Tower back on March 2nd. The as-yet unidentified occupant is in critical but stable condition at a burns center in Milwaukee. The officer injured fighting the blaze has made a full recovery. Investigators think a lit cigarette or other smoking device was dropped into a lounge chair, setting it on fire as the victim sat in it.
