The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Andrew Lee Gigowski, 42 of Gladstone, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
Gigowski was arrested following an investigation which was initiated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the ICAC Task Force when it was learned that Gigowski may have accessed and shared illicit content on the internet. A search of his residence resulted in digital evidence being seized.
Gigowski was charged with two counts of child sexually abusive material – aggravated, two counts of child sexually abusive material – possession, and four counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Gigowski was arraigned in the 94th District Court of Delta County on Thursday, April 9.
