State Rep. Greg Markkanen recently announced the winners of his summer photo contest.
Residents from throughout the 110th District submitted photos for consideration. The winning photos were submitted by Ann Pihlija, Mary Kaminski, and Gary Wadaga.
The three winning photos will hang in Rep. Markkanen’s Lansing office. An official unveiling will be held, where the three winning photographers will be invited to join Rep. Markkanen in Lansing.
“The Upper Peninsula has some of the Midwest’s most beautiful scenery. This is an opportunity to showcase our region and great photography down in my Lansing office,” Markkanen said. “I want to thank everyone who participated and I look forward to hosting another contest soon.”
