Replacement of a culvert on the entry road to a Michigan Department of Natural Resources boating access site on Kaks Lake southwest of Newberry will force a four-day temporary closure.
The road leading to the boating access site will be closed Oct. 14-17. The work is being performed by the DNR Parks and Recreation Division.
Kaks Lake is located about 5 miles from Newberry, near the intersection of M-28 and M-117. The lake is frequented by anglers pursuing sportfish, including various panfish and northern pike.
