Escanaba held its annual New Years Fireworks display Tuesday night in Ludington Park.
Dozens of cars filled with people lined Lakeshore Boulevard and several nearby streets near the park and kids in snow suits could be seen standing along the snowbanks to watch the annual event.
The city moved it from the Municipal Dock area because last year, high winds sent fireworks shells into neighborhood yards. Tuesday night’s display lasted about eleven minutes and was held under calm weather conditions.
