3:00 P.M. UPDATE 1/5/2020—The Cloverland Electric Co-op is down to about 300 remaining outages. Line and tree-trimming crews are working hard removing downed trees and hanging line.
Restoration work will continue into the evening before they come in for an 8-hour safety rest. Let’s hope that Mother Nature is kind to us over the next several hours.
10:00 A.M. UPDATE 1/5/2020— We have about 560 outages scattered across our service area. Line crews and tree-trimming crews are out in full force. Weather forecast includes snow and high wind gusts this afternoon which may impact progress. Everyone will continue to give it their all until power is restored.
We have made significant headway in the East Lake area and look to have a portion of the battered circuit restored later this evening and more on tomorrow.
