Beginning Monday, February 3rd, all patients coming in for a prescheduled radiology appointment at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital will register at the Information Desk.
Patients will then have a seat in the main lobby where a staff member will retrieve them once they are ready.
This new process eliminates the need for patients to travel back and forth to the radiology window and is more consistent with registration for other tests.
Radiology tests impacted by the new changes are:
Ultrasound
MRI
CT
Mammography
Bone Density-Dexa
Nuclear Medicine
Echocardiography
Signage will be in the main lobby and Radiology window as a reminder to patients.
