A South Dakota murder trial with connections to the Upper Peninsula is over.
Forty-five-year-old Stephen Falkenberg has been found guilty on four charges. The second degree murder conviction is for the death of his girlfriend, 46-year-old Tamara LaFramboise. Falkenburg killed and dismembered LaFrambopise’s body, then dumped it into the Menominee River, in March of 2019.
Falkenberg will be sentenced on March 2nd.
