On 02-02-20 at 4:45 pm, the Gladstone Public Safety and Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a reported house fire with a woman inside the homeat 112 Cliffs Drive.
Upon arrival, officers entered the residence and were able to bring her to safety outside.
The fire was contained and extinguished quickly. Residence sustained heavy interior fire and smoke damage. The fire remains under investigation. The 80-year-old female was transported by Rampart EMS to St. Francis Hospital then air lifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
