Rep. Beau LaFave of Iron Mountain announced today he will host a photo contest for residents of Dickinson, Menominee, and Delta counties. The theme for the photo contest is winter fun.
Three winners will be selected by Rep. LaFave, and the winning photos will be displayed in LaFave’s Lansing office where the photographers will be invited to join him in Lansing to unveil the pictures.
“Whether you love it or hate it, winter is a unique time in our neck of the woods,” LaFave said. “Although winter can be brutally long, it can also be a beautiful time of year. I look forward to displaying these scenes in my office for everyone to see.”
Photos may be emailed to BeauLaFave@house.mi.gov or mailed to S-1487 House Office Building, P.O. Box 30014 Lansing, MI 48809. Qualified participants must live within the district that LaFave serves. Photo submissions should include name, address and contact information of the individual. The deadline is April 1.
