The Bay College Financial Aid Department will host FAFSA completion night to assist parents and seniors in completing the application. The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the application for federal financial aid. Families can come to Bay College’s HUB (use the Besse Center entrance), Room 870, on February 20 for assistance in completing the application. The workshop will begin at 6:00 PM. Please bring the following information for both the parent and student: FSAID (username and password for the FAFSA created at fsaid.ed.gov), Social Security Number, Federal Income Tax Return, W-2s, and other records of money earned, bank and investment records (if applicable), and records of untaxed income.

Bay College awards nearly 300 scholarships every year to graduating high school seniors, current students, and returning learners. Over $420,000.00 is available for students in scholarships for Academic Year 2020-2021, and a scholarship application must be submitted by March 15 to be considered. The application can be found online at www.baycollege.edu/scholarships. Students may contact the Financial Aid Office at 906-217-4020 with any questions regarding the online application. Scholarships are available for academic excellence, financial need, and specific academic programs.
