Do you know a high school student who has volunteered above and beyond their schools’ community service requirements?
Nominate them for the M&M Area Community Foundation’s Young Philanthropist Award. Students, youth clubs, and school organizations residing in Marinette and Menominee counties are eligible for nomination. The volunteer efforts must benefit non-profit organizations as well as the nominees’ school. A student may not be nominated if they have accepted a premium from the charitable organization as a reward for their philanthropic efforts.
The recipient will be given the opportunity to direct a $500 grant to the non-profit of their choice. The award funding is provided by the Youth Field of Interest Endowed Fund held at the M&M Area Community Foundation along with The Stephenson National Bank & Trust.
Nominations must be submitted between March 16th and April 13th online at mmacf.org. Questions may be directed to Kerri Weigal at the Community Foundation office at 906-864-3599.
