The City of Escanaba’s top priority is, and always will be, the health, safety and well-being of our residents. In an attempt to limit the exposure of COVID-19, we are announcing that City Hall will be temporarily closed.
City residents are urged to limit in-person interactions as much as possible and to conduct business by other means. City Hall staff is still working in order to answer the phones and take in payments at the drop box.
Currently, the plans are to keep City Hall closed through at least April 5, 2020. For up-to-date information, go to our City website at Escanaba.org or visit us on Facebook.
This situation is very fluid and this is not something any of us have ever experienced, so we thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
If you have any questions regarding the Coronavirus, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) now has a statewide hotline.
It will be open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 1-888-535-6136.
