Michigan’s Governor Whitmer announced the extension of the Stay In Place Executive Order through April 30, 2020.
Due to this order, all City buildings/offices will remain closed until May 1, 2020.
City residents are urged to follow the Executive Order, as well as the CDC guidelines; limit in-person interactions as much as possible, no non-essential travel, and to conduct business by other means. City staff is still working in order to maintain all essential services, but hours are being limited.
The City of Escanaba’s top priority is, and always will be, the health, safety and well-being of our residents. This situation is very fluid and this is not something any of us have ever experienced, so we thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
